Ashanti Shequoiya Doug, also referred to as Ashanti was born on 13 October, 1980 in Glen Cove New York United States. She is a singer, songwriter from America and actor. Ashanti is a teen singer-songwriter and actress from the United States was signed by Murder Inc. Records to release her debut album in 2002.
