Anika Noni, an American actress and vocalist. Most famously, she is the voice of Tiana in The Princess and the Frog, the very first African American Disney Princess. The film was awarded her the title of as a Disney Legend in 2011. Rose was an Oscar-winning actress who performed the role of Lorrell on the screen in Dreamgirls. Anika Rose was born the 6th of September in 1971. She is a famous American actor and singer. She is best known for portraying Tiana Disney's first princess of African descent as she appeared in The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in 2011. She is best known for the role of Lorrell Robinson in the Academy Award-winning movie Dreamgirls (2006) as well as her performance as LaVerne the Jukebox Ganner from the Starz television show Power. Alongside her acting skills, she's known for the roles she played in the theater.
